This dragon mug is handmade ceramic with a dragon hand-painted around the body — wings, coiled tail and individually drawn scales, in the tradition of classical dragon painting on pottery.
Painted scale by scale
Each handmade pottery mug is shaped, glazed and painted individually in our studio, then kiln-fired. The dragon is painted freehand, which is why the scales, wings and expression differ on every mug — each one is its own creature.
