Our Story
CeraBien began in a small ceramics atelier in Çanakkale, Turkey, where our founder, Hilal Başak İnce, began creating ceramics entirely by hand.
What started as a small Turkish atelier has grown into a US-based ceramic brand, while our production remains rooted in Çanakkale. Every CeraBien piece is still individually shaped and hand-painted in our own atelier by skilled hands.
Unlike mass-produced ceramics, our pieces are not simply factory-made and decorated. Each item is formed by hand from clay, carefully refined, individually painted, glazed, and kiln-fired. This hands-on process gives every piece its own character, with subtle variations that make it genuinely unique.

What is your minimum order quantity?
Our wholesale minimum starts at 10 pieces per design. The exact minimum varies by product — larger or more intricate pieces take longer to form, paint and fire, so the threshold can differ from one item to another. Tell us what you have in mind and we will confirm the minimum for those specific pieces.
How does wholesale pricing work?
Wholesale pricing typically starts at 40% off retail and is volume-tiered from there — the more units you order, the lower the cost per piece. Because every item is made by hand, we quote per order rather than from a fixed list. Email hello@cerabien.com with the products and quantities you are considering and we will send a line sheet with your pricing.
How long does production take?
One to two months from order confirmation, depending on quantity and how much customization is involved. Each piece is formed by hand from clay, refined, individually painted, glazed and kiln-fired in our atelier in Çanakkale, Turkey — the timeline reflects that process rather than a factory run.
Can I order samples before committing to a bulk order?
Yes. We send samples so you can assess the glaze, weight and finish in person before placing a wholesale order. For custom work, we can also produce a prototype from your design before full production begins.
Do you offer custom or private-label production?
Yes — including moulds made specifically for your company. We produce fully brand-specific ranges: your own shapes, your own glazes, your own decoration. If you have a design, we can develop a dedicated mould for it, which means the resulting pieces are made for your brand alone and are not sold to anyone else. This is available to boutiques, concept stores, cafés and interior designers developing their own product lines.
What are your payment terms?
A 50% deposit confirms your order and starts production; the balance is settled before shipping. Credit card payment is accepted for both instalments.
What happens if pieces arrive damaged?
We replace damaged pieces. Ceramics travel a long way and occasionally something does not survive the journey — send us a photo and the replacement goes out on our side. You are not left carrying the loss.
Where do you ship?
We ship wholesale orders to the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe, produced and dispatched from our atelier in Çanakkale, Turkey.
