Stylish Kitchen

The two things that live permanently on a kitchen counter: the paper towel holder and the utensil crock. Everything else gets put away. These are the pieces you look at every day, so this collection gathers all of ours in one place — each one shaped, hand-painted and kiln-fired by hand.

Shop by Piece

  • Paper Towel Holders — freestanding stands and wall racks in floral, fruit, checkered and rustic designs, from 5" to 8" diameter
  • Utensil Holders & Spoon Crocks — countertop organizers wide enough for a fistful of wooden spoons, and narrow ones that work as pencil or toothbrush holders
  • Small Counter Pieces — spoon rests, a self-draining sponge holder and soap dish, and the odd organizer that earns its place by the sink

Why Ceramic on a Counter

Fired clay has the weight to stay put when you tear a sheet one-handed — the thing plastic and light metal both fail at. It doesn't rust by the sink, doesn't stain from turmeric or tomato, and the glaze wipes clean with a damp cloth. It is also the only counter object most kitchens have that can be genuinely decorative without pretending to be something else.

Kitchen Counter Ceramics FAQ

Will a ceramic paper towel holder tip over?

Not in normal use. The bases are weighted by the material itself, and the dowel is sized so the roll turns rather than lifts. One-handed tearing is what these are made for.

What size roll fits?

Standard household rolls. Several designs come in 5", 6", 7" and 8" diameters — measure your usual roll if you buy the jumbo packs, and pick a size up.

How many utensils fit in a crock?

The wide crocks take 10–15 wooden spoons, spatulas and whisks comfortably. The narrow ones are better as a pencil cup, a toothbrush holder, or for a small set by the stove.

Can these go in the dishwasher?

Hand-wash is what we recommend. The glaze survives a dishwasher, but repeated hot cycles dull hand-painted detail over years. Warm water and a cloth take thirty seconds.

Are they all one-offs?

Each is painted individually, so two of the same design are siblings rather than copies — small differences in line and color. If you want a matched towel holder and crock, order them together and we'll pair them from the same batch where we can.

Do you sell these wholesale?

Yes — these are our two most-stocked wholesale lines. From 10 pieces per design, custom colorways available; see our wholesale page for minimums and lead times.

Care

Wipe clean with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive scrubbers, which dull the hand-painted glaze.
