What Makes These Different
A mass-produced key rack is stamped metal or printed MDF. These are ceramic: rolled out, cut, painted freehand, glazed and kiln-fired individually. The brushwork is never repeated exactly, which is why one of these reads as a piece of wall decor that happens to hold keys rather than as hardware.
Mounting
Each piece has fixing holes or a hanging channel built in before firing, and the hooks are already fitted. Check the individual listing for dimensions and the number of hooks — pieces vary, because each one is shaped by hand.

How is it fixed to the wall?
Through the holes formed in the ceramic before firing, with a screw and wall plug suited to your wall type. The pieces are light, so a standard plug is usually enough. Exact hole positions are shown on each listing.
How many keys will it hold?
It depends on the design — most have between three and five hooks, and they take keyrings, dog leads, small bags and face masks just as happily as keys. The hook count is listed on every product page.
Can I have a name or a word on it?
Yes. We paint custom names and short words to order, and because every piece is produced by hand in our own atelier we can adapt a design rather than only add text to a fixed one. Email hello@cerabien.com with the design and the wording.
Is it a good housewarming gift?
It is one of the pieces people buy most often as a housewarming or wedding gift, because it is useful on day one in a new place and it is not something the recipient is likely to already own.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a damp cloth. The design is painted under the glaze, so it will not rub off; avoid abrasive scourers, which dull the glaze over time.
