Hand-painted cherry blossom and sakura ceramics — mugs, cups and espresso sets, each one shaped on the wheel and painted freehand in our own atelier. Soft pink blossoms on stoneware, made one at a time, so no two branches fall the same way.

What Makes These Different

A printed sakura mug is a transfer applied to a blank. These are not that. The blossoms are painted by hand with a fine brush before glazing and firing, which is why the petals sit slightly differently on every piece and the pink shifts a little from one firing to the next. That variation is the point — it is what tells you a person made it.

Everyday Use

Stoneware ceramic, dishwasher and microwave safe, roughly 300–350 ml (10–12 oz) for the mugs. Check each listing for exact capacity, since hand-thrown pieces vary slightly. The espresso cups are sized for a standard double shot.

Cherry Blossom Mug FAQ

Is the blossom painted or printed?

Painted. Every branch is brushed on by hand before the piece is glazed and kiln-fired, so the design is under the glaze and cannot wear off with washing.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?

Very close, but not identical. Small differences in the brushwork, the glaze pooling and the tone of the pink are normal on hand-painted ceramics and are checked before a piece leaves the atelier.

Are these safe in the dishwasher and microwave?

Yes. The glaze is food safe and fired to stoneware temperature. Avoid abrasive scourers, which dull any hand-painted glaze over time.
