This clumsy cat mug is handmade ceramic with a deliberately wobbly, hand-drawn cat painted on the side — the kind of drawing that looks like the cat wouldn't sit still for it.
Handmade, drawn freehand
Each handmade ceramic cup is shaped, glazed and painted individually in our studio, then kiln-fired. The cat is drawn by hand, so every one is a little more lopsided, a little more smug, a little different from the last.
The charm is in the imperfection
A perfectly rendered cat looks like clip art. A slightly clumsy one looks like somebody actually drew it — which is exactly why this whimsical coffee mug makes people smile rather than just nod.
