This ghost Halloween mug is handmade ceramic in a deep glossy black glaze, hand-painted with a small white ghost standing in a field of orange wildflowers — spooky and botanical at the same time.

Each handmade ceramic mug is shaped, glazed and painted individually in our studio, then kiln-fired. The ghost and the wildflowers are painted freehand onto the dark body, so the flowers fall differently and every ghost has its own posture.
Why glossy black changes everything
Most Halloween mugs are cream or orange. A glossy black body makes the white ghost read like something glowing in the dark, and the shine lifts the orange flowers the way low light would. It's also the reason this mug still works in a kitchen in March.
